The Ian James Wallace Scholarship Fund is established to perpetuate Ian's message and the example he set for us all. Before his passing, Ian James Wallace was an ideal student who inspired those around him to find a way to contribute, make a difference, and be of service to our fragile planet.
Scholarship Eligibility Requirements:
- Recipients of the Scholarship will demonstrate and be committed to excellence in the Arts and Humanities;
- Is a Colorado high school graduate entering college as a freshman;
- Provides a copy of the most current transcript showing an accumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better (unweighted) through the first semester of the student's senior year;
- Scholarship funds will be earmarked only for the student's first year of college;
- Scholarship checks will be sent to the institution in which the award recipient is enrolled full-time for the 2008-2009 academic school year.
Ian James Wallace lived life and loved life. He touched and positively affected more lives that he could have ever imagined. For seventeen years we had an angel walking with us. This humble, unassuming, Renaissance man was in this world but not of this world. He was on loan from the universe for a brief period of time. Ian James Wallace was given to us with a message that we all fervently need to listen to and follow.
